Sometimes, the most meaningful things in life begin with a simple invitation.
A few years ago, one of my high school friends invited me to help build something that had been growing in her heart for quite some time. It wasn't another social media project, a mobile app, or a short-term campaign. It was a vision for a community where women could slow down, breathe, heal, and grow together in WhatsApp Channel. Yes, only for women.
That community is called SERVANTS.
As we worked together, I realized that SERVANTS is much more than a name. It represents a gentle reminder that strength and softness can exist side by side, and that true growth begins not by becoming someone else, but by returning to the person Allah created us to be.
A Different Kind of Community
We live in a world that constantly tells women to do more, achieve more, and become more. Be stronger. Be more productive. Be more successful. While personal growth is important, it is easy to forget that our hearts also need moments of stillness.
SERVANTS was created to become that space. A place where women are welcomed without pretending they have everything together. A place where vulnerability is not weakness, questions are not judged, and every step toward Allah is celebrated—no matter how small.
Rather than simply sharing inspirational quotes, SERVANTS encourages meaningful conversations, practical reflection, and gentle habits that nurture emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
The 120 Days Journey

One of the first programs launched by SERVANTS is the 120 Days Journey. Instead of asking participants to change everything overnight, the journey is divided into four gentle 30-day experiences:
- 30 Days of Gentle Reflection – learning to understand your own heart with honesty and compassion.
- 30 Days of Gentle Healing – creating space for emotional restoration.
- 30 Days of Gentle Purpose – discovering your values, calling, and direction.
- 30 Days of Gentle Faith – strengthening your relationship with Allah through trust, gratitude, and remembrance.
Each journey can be joined individually, allowing every participant to grow at her own pace.
Two Weeks In and Already Meaningful

At the time I'm writing this, we have already completed two weeks of the first journey: 30 Days of Gentle Reflection.
One of the things I appreciate most is how simple the daily reflections are.
Each day invites us to spend just 5–10 minutes, at any time that fits our schedule. There are no long lectures. No overwhelming assignments. Just one gentle theme, a few thoughtful reflection questions, and a du'a to help us reconnect with Allah.
Some days encourage us to notice where our hearts are. Other days invite us to recognize the quiet blessings we often overlook, reflect on what truly gives life to our souls, or become more aware of emotions we usually push aside.
It isn't about having perfect answers. It's about learning to pause long enough to listen.
A Book Growing Alongside The Journey

The most meaningful parts of this experience for me has been working on something behind the scenes while the journey unfolds.
Alongside the daily reflections, I have been writing a companion pocketbook inspired by the 120 Days Journey. Rather than simply compiling the reflection prompts, each day begins with a short story.
These stories follow women from different countries and generations whose lives become unexpectedly connected. They uncover forgotten parts of themselves. Grief, hope, purpose, courage, and faith. Each story naturally leads into the day's reflection, inviting readers to pause and ask the same questions the characters are learning to face.
My hope is that this pocketbook will become more than something people simply read. I hope it becomes a gentle companion they can return to during quiet mornings, after salah, or before going to sleep. A reminder that growth often begins with one honest conversation with Allah.
As a small gift of appreciation, this e-book will be available free of charge to every SERVANTS member. It is our way of saying thank you for walking this journey with us and a resource you can revisit long after the 120 days have ended.
Watching both the community and the book grow side by side has been one of the most meaningful creative experiences I've had.
Every day, while participants continue the journey together, another story also finds its place on the page. Little by little, the reflections, the stories, and the women in this community are becoming part of one beautiful journey.
Small Moments, Lasting Change
One thing I've learned over these past two weeks is that meaningful growth rarely comes from dramatic breakthroughs. More often, it begins with small moments.
A quiet conversation with Allah. Writing honestly in a journal. Recognizing an emotion instead of ignoring it. Expressing gratitude for something ordinary.
These moments may seem insignificant on their own, but repeated consistently, they begin to shape the heart. That gentle, sustainable approach is what makes this journey feel so refreshing.
You're Still Welcome to Join
If you've been following SERVANTS from afar, wondering whether it's "too late" to participate, the answer is no. You're still warmly invited to join us.
Whether you've been carrying emotional exhaustion, searching for greater purpose, longing for a deeper connection with Allah, or simply looking for a supportive community of women, this journey offers a gentle place to begin.
You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to be "ready." You only need a willing heart.
Join the Journey
If this sounds like something your heart has been longing for, we'd love to walk alongside you.

Every gentle step matters. And sometimes, the journey that changes your life begins with simply saying yes to the next small step.

BalasHapusThat’s great! It turns out that, in addition to the daily devotionals, you also managed to complete that companion pocketbook inspired by the "120-Day Journey."
BalasHapusInstead of just compiling reflection questions, each day begins with a short story. That must be really enjoyable.
BalasHapusWhat a wonderful community!
BalasHapusI think it's beautiful to see women lifting each other up.
About ADHD, it is true that the older generation didn't know much about ADHD, which leaves adults with ADHD today sort of fumbling in the dark to find their footing in society.
BTW, now I'm really curious and want to read the pocketbook hehe :D
Congratulations for Servants and all the programs that available for the members to join in. I fully agree, that the establishment and the purpose of this geoup, will be really useful for everyone. Would like yo joint, some day later. Insya Allah 🤲🏻

BalasHapus30 days can pass by in a flash, making us wonder how time flew so fast. But if we live through it mindfully, for example by noting things down through journaling, we can truly savor each moment and find deeper meaning in our daily routines.
BalasHapusI truly enjoyed reading this article. It's a beautiful reminder that the right community can inspire us to grow, serve, and become better versions of ourselves. I love how you shared not only the activities but also the values behind the community, making the story feel warm and meaningful. Thank you for sharing such an inspiring experience.
BalasHapusWow, so amazing.
BalasHapusSuch a wonderful and refreshing perspective, Farida! True growth really does happen in small, consistent steps rather than overnight breakthroughs. Wishing continued success to the SERVANTS community and the 120 Days Journey. Very nice.
What a wonderful community. I love the concept of encouraging women to get to know themselves better and grow closer to God without having to rush. It only takes 5–10 minutes a day, but if done consistently, the impact can be significant. I hope more women benefit from this journey.
